Learning target: We can identify how to convey the emotion and tone of a story through how you read your script.
We started today creating a file folder on the desktop of your laptop. The title of the file folder should be "Your Name's Digital Story." Subfolders should include the following: Photos, Videos, Soundtrack, Voiceover, and Projects. Projects is where you'll save the video file over and over again so you don't lose anything. The other folders are where you should download the images and sounds you want to use in your story. I recommend trying to gather all of this material and so you can transfer it all to your video program in one fell swoop. We'll be going over this again on Monday.
We then read the script for the digital story, Limbo, and then watched it as an example for how the tone of voice can convey a lot of power within a story.
The rest of the time we spent conferencing.
Homework due on Monday, September 21st
Finalize your scripts so you're ready for recording.
