Goal for the day: To make discoveries about image, character, and story
We are now moving into a section of the course where you're digging into and applying what we've been discussing in terms of image, character, and our newest element -- the story arc. Here are the projects you can spend time in class working on:
1) Finishing your character voice assignment
2) Finishing your packed image
3) Adding to the reading vandalism
4) Working on your story arc - creating your own mountain of dramatic tension
5) Getting started on your "Telling a Story" assignment - draft due September 30th.
Assignment for Friday, September 19th
Finish your Character Voice assignment - to turn in at the beginning of class. Get it to the point where you're not sure what you would do next with the voice. It should be at least 250 words but can be longer. You can incorporate this character into your "Telling a Story" assignment.
