Goal: Work on through
I mentioned this yesterday, but we’ll actually do it today. Go onto my DP and look at Matt’s sample email home to your parents announcing your presentation. Make sure to include the link to the schedule. Here again are the tips from Matt on what should be in the email....
1. Welcome them to view your talk and defense.
2. Your time slot and date of talk/defense
3. The format (15 minute talk in the "TED" style, followed by a 20 minute thesis defense)
4. Your research question
5. The aspect of the talk/defense that you are most looking forward to (or scared of, or both).
6. Attendance of 1 parent is REQUIRED
7. Extra Credit option: Extra credit points are available for each additional family member or outside guest. This can be a lot of extra credit!!!
8. Share the link with them, so they may see the schedule and come to any other interesting talks or support your friends!

You can use Matt's sample email in yesterday's blog post as an example.
Jesse Hutt also wants me to remind you to email her your senior quote today.
The rest of the day is yours to write, conference, and peer critique. Remember formatting, especially of your Works Cited page. Use the bibliographic resources we’ve provided to double check your MLA.
If you are turning your essay in today, print out a hard copy for me. I will review and grade essays in the order I receive them. If your essay is complete, email your advisor to request the SPAM-3 meeting and attach your essay.
Finally, make sure to double-check on what pass/fail assignments are missing. These are due on Monday.
Homework due on Monday, April 27th
Finalize your draft. Proofread your pages to find typos and other errors. Finish up any outstanding pass/fail assignments: outline, deep reading, bibliography, etc. You will get zeroes if these aren’t in on Monday.
